I've always been a storyteller. Growing up, I loved drawing picture books or writing stories with extensive character development. That passion for writing turned into an interest in journalism and led me to writing for a living. Whether I am working in marketing, crafting a newsletter, creating digital content for social media, or simply writing an article - the love of storytelling is persistent.

I graduated as a super super senior from the University of Washington with a BA in Journalism. The "super super" senior part might not be super super sexy, but it was because I was already working full time at KOMO News, a local news station in Seattle, from the time I was 20. An internship with Seattle Refined, a lifestyle website and television show, turned into a full time Assistant Editor and Digital Producer role. There, I truly cultivated my journalistic, editorial, and social media skills.

From there, I went on to the news side and worked as a Social Media Manager fro KOMO News. After the pandemic, I needed a massive change and decided to freelance write. I worked in many capacities, as on air talent for different companies, social media management, writing lifestyle and hard news articles, and also managed a bar for fun.

Now, I work on the Marketing and Communications team at a private school in Seattle as the Editorial Content Manager. I help with all marketing materials with different departments, write editorial articles, and run the social media accounts.

With nearly 10 years experience and a diverse array of avenues, I believe I bring unique voice and perspective to any project that I work on.
